Panelists:
Janet Snow-Godfrey joined Ochsner in May 2014 as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. She oversees all aspects of Human Resources for employees and physicians including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee development and learning, and supports HR elements of strategic affiliations with other providers.
Most recently Janet was Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Culligan International in Chicago; a global water filtration company. Earlier in her career, she worked for various companies including Sara Lee, Bankers Life and Casualty, and Acxiom, focused on transforming HR teams into high performing organizations. She started her career at PepsiCo, spending 15 years at Pepsi-Cola and Pizza Hut in HR, sales and operations roles.
Janet grew up in Illinois and received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she also received her Master of Arts in Labor and Industrial Relations.
Rudi Hall Thompson is Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer for Hancock Bank and Whitney Bank, as well as the investment and finance company subsidiaries of Hancock Holding Company. She holds a Bachelors of Science in commerce and business administration from The University of Alabama and a lifetime Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
Rudi possesses over 25 years of business experience, with 20 of those years in financial services. During that time, she has served in senior HR roles at and consulted for large, mid-size, and community banks in the Southeast. Rudi has a successful track record of moving companies through start-up, merger and acquisition, and organic growth. Her extensive background includes experience in talent management, organizational re-alignment, and consolidations.
Before entering banking, she held corporate human resources roles at a large, Alabama based pulp and paper corporation and Japanese owned electronics manufacturing facility.
