Whether it’s a simple “thank you” or an office party thrown in your favor, everyone likes to be appreciated. On a surface level, appreciation is good for employee engagement, motivation and retention. Employee recognition and appreciation can also create unique company culture and strengthen employee relationships.
Join us on November 13th to discuss the importance of expressing gratitude for employees’ contributions, the different ways to express gratitude, and the effects of expressing gratitude on employees’ performance.
Having a better understanding on how important appreciation and gratitude are on a personal level and how it directly impacts the workplace, something all employees can participate in and benefit from.
In addition to our regularly scheduled event, we will also hold our 2019 Board elections! We look forward to the opportunity for each member to cast their vote. All members are urged to attend!!
Your ATD NOLA Chapter is excited to bring you these Lagniappe Sessions - informal gatherings for professionals with a passion for the field of Learning, Education and Training. Participants will exchange ideas on the research and practices that shape the workforce development field. There is no fee for members to attend and only $5 for non members . Participants may choose to purchase food and drink directly from the location vendor.
